Sovereign creates mechanical watches inspired by Art Deco, where high-tech and beauty belong together.

For me, a watch is more than an instrument for measuring time. It is a small expression of autonomy. It carries its own energy and remains useful without requiring a connection to a power grid or a digital network.

That idea is reflected in our emblem, a small flame of liberty, prominently displayed on the dial.

Sovereign combines original designs with precision engineering. We do not disguise catalogue watches with a new logo, invent a fictional heritage or obscure where components come from. We are open about what and where we design and manufacture, and assemble ourselves, and about the specialists and suppliers whose work contributes to each watch. We strive to do as much manufacturing as possible in-house, in the Netherlands.
